Information on the following area Easter egg/basket hunts have been provided to The Union.

April 12

The Windsor Sparkplugs 4-H Club and Hawkeye Businessmen will host an Easter egg hunt Saturday, April 12. The event, which is open to fifth-grade students and younger, will begin at 10 a.m. at Hauth Park in Hawkeye.

April 19

The Clermont Community Club will host the annual Clermont Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, April 19. The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Clermont City Park. Participants are asked to bring something to put their eggs and candy in. In addition, the Easter Bunny plans to drop by to say hello and take photos with anyone who wants them.

Elgin’s Easter basket hunt is scheduled for Saturday, April 19. Registration is at Elgin Downtown City Park, with the event to be held from 9-10 a.m. All children in grades preschool through sixth grade are invited to participate.

The City of Ossian and Ossian Crown Club are sponsoring an Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 19. Children in fifth grade and younger are invited to attend the event, which will take place at the South Winneshiek Middle School playground in Ossian.

West Union’s annual Easter basket hunt will be held Saturday, April 19, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. or until all baskets are gone. Numbers can be picked up by walkers at the Fayette County Historical Center, while drivers and their passengers are asked to drive through the courthouse parking lot to receive their numbers. The event, hosted by the Eldorado Eagles 4-H Club, is open to children up to fifth grade.

West Union Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by Bethel Presbyterian Church, begins at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 19, at the West Union Recreation Center. The event is open to children ages 10 and under. Participants should bring their own baskets.
