The North Fayette Valley boys’ golf team came home with a first-place finish at Tuesday’s Clayton Ridge Invite, topping a field of six northeast Iowa teams by carding a 332.

Leading the way for the TigerHawks in the 18-hole tournament was senior Kenny Kerr who earned medalist honors with an 81 and was one of three NFV golfers to finish among the top three.

Joining Kerr were Blake Everitt and Tanner Wilker who each finished with 82s to tie for third, while Cole Moser rounded out scoring by finishing his day tied for seventh with an 87.

Carsten Lensing carded an 88 and Tate Germann had a 93 to round out the team effort for North Fayette Valley.
