VINTON – Members of the Vinton Presbyterian Church may all have many different Christmas family traditions, but as church family there is one they have all shared for over a decade.
For the 11th time in a row, the church celebrated Christmas by offering a free holiday dinner. Over 200 dinners were served this year, both in house and carry-out. Church members served up a dinner of ham, potatoes and gravy, stuffing, and all the fixings, all prepared by members.
The first dinner was held on Christmas Day, 2014 and has become a tradition both in the church and the community.
