VINTON — Kids of all ages gathered at Kiwanis Park in Vinton on Saturday, April 19, for the Kiwanis Annual Easter Egg Hunt.
Around a dozen Kiwanis members spent roughly 40 minutes placing the Easter eggs in several areas designated by age group. However, the kiddos who came to hunt the eggs were significantly more efficient. Kiwanis President Craig Ollinger blew the air horn at promptly 10:00 a.m. to begin the hunt, and by 10:07, almost all the eggs were found.
Many families stuck around for awhile, waiting for the chance to meet the Easter Bunny or to play at the park.
