With the biggest bicycling event in Iowa coming through Cedar Falls and the region in July, officials in Cedar Falls issued a reminder that anyone hoping to be a vendor and sell products to participants in Cedar Falls for the stop of RAGBRAI must be registered with the city.

In a press release issued to local media outlets on April 10, Cedar Falls officials stated that vendor applications are now open for Cedar Falls RAGBRAI presented by SciPlay. The application is available at .

Black Hawk County businesses, organizations (both for-profit and non-profit), and vendors are encouraged to fill out the application for an opportunity to help feed and provide services to the tens of thousands of bicyclists and visitors expected on Thursday and Friday, July 24-25.

Any business or organization within Cedar Falls city limits that plans to sell or provide goods or services to riders, especially planned for bicyclists or outside of their normal operations, during the RAGBRAI stop — which is July 24 from 8 a.m. through July 25 at noon — must apply and be approved for a Cedar Falls RAGBRAI vendor permit.

Applications are open through May 15. Find additional information including fees at .
