Sunday, Feb. 23
At 6:50 a.m. Buchanan County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Zachary Leon Fowler, 35, of Independence, on an active arrest warrant out of Buchanan County for probation violation and taken into custody from the Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office.
At approximately 11:45 p.m. deputies arrested James Igor Mason III, 30, of Waterloo. Mason was charged with third or subsequent possession of controlled substance (Class D felony) and possession of drug paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor). This arrest was made following a traffic stop near 120th Street and Carter Avenue. The Buchanan County Sheriff’s K9 Unit assisted in this arrest.
Monday, Feb. 24
At approximately 11 p.m. deputies arrested Tyler Ray Ryan, 36, and Melissa Ann Meyers, 36, both of Lamont. Ryan and Meyers were each arrested on an active arrest warrant out of Buchanan County for an original charge of animal neglect causing death (aggravated misdemeanor). These arrests were made in the 800 block of East Street in Lamont.
Tuesday, Feb. 25
At approximately 10:30 a.m. deputies arrested Derek Ray Albert, 36, of Brandon, on an active arrest warrant out of Buchanan County for original charges of domestic abuse assault with injury (serious misdemeanor) and third degree harassment (simple misdemeanor), and held them at the Buchanan County Jail.
At 1:50 p.m. deputies arrested Nasmin Evener Rodriguez-Zelaya, 39, of Oelwein, for with first offense operating while intoxicated (serious misdemeanor), child endangerment (aggravated misdemeanor) and was cited for open container, no valid driver’s license and failure to provide proof of insurance. This arrest was made following a traffic stop near Second Avenue and Second Street NE in Independence.
Wednesday, Feb. 26
At 2:05 p.m. deputies arrested Shirley Ann Hills, 60, of Hazleton, on an active arrest warrant out of Buchanan County for an original charge of second offense possession of controlled substance (aggravated misdemeanor). This arrest was made in the 100 block of North Street W in Hazleton.
At approximately 3 p.m. deputies arrested Roger Allen Walker, 23, of Hazleton, on an active arrest warrant out of Buchanan County for original charges of third degree burglary (Class D felony), third degree theft (aggravated misdemeanor) and fifth degree criminal mischief (simple misdemeanor). This arrest was made in the 400 block of Sufficool Street East in Hazleton.
At 7:25 p.m. deputies arrested Carrie Jo Fox, 43, of Hazleton, on an active arrest warrant out of Buchanan County for original charges of fourth degree theft (serious misdemeanor), unlawful possession of prescription drugs (serious misdemeanor) and possession of drug paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor). This arrest was made in the 100 block of North Street W in Hazleton.
At 11:50 p.m. deputies arrested Walter Maurice Grays, 49, of Hazleton, on an active arrest warrant out of Buchanan County for original charges of third or subsequent offense possession of controlled substance (Class D felony), third or subsequent possession of marijuana (aggravated misdemeanor), unlawful possession of prescription drugs (serious misdemeanor) and possession of drug paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor). This arrest was made in the 400 block of Sufficool Street East in Hazleton.
Thursday, Feb. 27
At approximately 6:30 a.m. deputies arrested Shawnalee Christine Berry, 51, of Oran, on an active arrest warrant out of Buchanan County for an original charge of driving while license revoked (serious misdemeanor) and held them at the Buchanan County Jail.
At approximately 3 p.m. deputies arrested Roger Allen Walker, 23, of Hazleton, on an active arrest warrant out of Buchanan County for an original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor) and held them at the Buchanan County Jail.
Friday, Feb. 28
At approximately 7 p.m. deputies arrested Kimberly Kay Lyon, 56, of Independence, for fifth degree criminal mischief (simple misdemeanor) and held them at the Buchanan County Jail.
At 8:40 p.m. deputies arrested Jenna Beth McLaury, 32, of Cedar Rapids, on an active arrest warrant out of Buchanan County for probation violation and was taken into custody from the Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
At approximately 10:30 p.m. deputies arrested Jason Adam Kenninger, 48, of Independence, for violation of protection order (simple misdemeanor) and held them at the Buchanan County Jail.
