INDEPENDENCE – The weather was very pleasant for Jingle on Main in downtown Independence on December 6.
The event kicked off with Mayor Brad Bleichner and City Manager Matt Schmitz lighting the Christmas Tree at the newly christened “Mayor’s Park†at the ‘Bank Corners’ downtown. People could then stretch out along First Street and Second Avenue for crafts, activities, food, shopping, and entertainment.
