On Friday, January 10, 2025, Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois kicked off the 2025 Girl Scout Cookie® season, a time when Girl Scouts everywhere hone their entrepreneurial skills as they find new and inventive ways to sell cookies, unboxing brighter futures for themselves. With the much-anticipated cookie season back in full swing, cookie lovers can rejoice as they indulge in the classic cookie lineup.
The 2025 cookie lineup is jam-packed with the full spread of highly sought-after cookie flavors, including Thin Mints®, Samoas®, Tagalongs®, Adventurefuls, Do-si-dos, Trefoils, Lemon-Ups, S’mores, and the gluten-free Toffee-tastic. All Girl Scout Cookie varieties are $6/package.
How to Purchase Girl Scout Cookies
If you know a registered Girl Scout, reach out to learn how they’re selling cookies. If you don’t know a Girl Scout, use the Girl Scout Cookie Finder at to purchase cookies. Community members can order cookies from a nearby troop and have the Girl Scout Cookies shipped to their home. They can also find a Cookie Booth from February 7 to March 23.
Girl Scout Troop 2493 (Winthrop/Quasqueton area) is getting ready.
“They are a fantastic group of girls and the parent volunteers that we have are the heart and soul of our Troop,†said Troop Leader Katie Machacek. “Cookie selling is the biggest fundraiser we do for Girl Scouts. The cookies we sell as a troop help us in so many ways. Troop 2493 has been able to use their cookie proceeds to pay for registration fees, uniforms, badges/pins, supplies for activities, go on field trips, do fun activities, experience new things, and help with plan/organize service projects in Buchanan County. This year the Girls are planning on doing a cleanup weekend this spring, make cards/gift baskets to nursing home residents, and work on a gardening project. All of this is only possible through successful fundraising such as the Cookie Program.â€

- March 16, 12 to 2 p.m. – Speede Shop Gas Station – Winthrop.
- March 17 6 to 7:30 p.m. — Speede Shop Gas Station – Winthrop
